The CW has renewed a slew of B.C.-filmed shows for its 2018-19 season.

Among the shows returning to film in and around the Vancouver area are Riverdale, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supernatural. Four other shows, which film elsewhere, were also renewed.

All six B.C. productions employ the services of IATSE 891 members, which include everything from accounting to grips, hair and make-up, props, set decor, sound, special and visual effects and more.

“As The CW expands to a six-night, Sunday through Friday schedule next season, we are proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz.

“By picking these 10 series up for next season, we have a terrific selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come.

“And I’m especially happy that we’ll continue to work with the incredibly talented casts, producers, and writers who create the series our fans are so passionate about.”

Three other filmed-in-B.C. CW shows are also awaiting news of their fate, including The 100, iZombie and Life Sentence starring Lucy Hale. The 100 has aired four seasons, while iZombie is currently airing its fourth season. Life Sentence premiered on March 7.

Supernatural’s upcoming season will be its 14th season.
